You can buy the punch cards at all the venue box offices for $45. I don't think you can buy them online.
You have to buy a button. It's three bucks, and you only have to buy one. Don't forget it at home, or you'll have to buy another one.
You can see the Fringe schedule online here
I suggest picking up a paper version of the schedule (City Pages size) at the library or most coffee shops. It arranges shows by descriptions and venues, and has a couple of maps of the venues.
If you're planning to see shows in the "Top 10" list, get there early. The box offices open half an hour before the show, but for anything Scrimshaw, Take a Left at the Giant Cow, or Villification Tennis, I suggest 45 minutes, at least.
I don't know. If you can, it'll say so on the ticket. I didn't realize that gold passes got free reservations until the last day of Fringe last year when I finally read the fine print on the back.
Yeah, I forgot to tell the new photogs that they were getting gold passes. I deliberately left gaps in schedules so they can go watch shows without having to photograph them, and best of all, they get to do so for free!
I use the reservations sparingly though. It costs the Fringe $2.50 per reservation. Out of the 60 shows I'm seeing this year, I made reservations for only 4 of them.
