The doctors told me to wait for a young donor with at least 3 matches.
I've been on the list for a new pancreas for six days.

I got a call when I went in to meet gunthar for lunch. My new pancreas is from a 20-year-old person, which matches 4 out of 6. We'll be in surgery at Fairview-University either this afternoon or tomorrow morning ( Read more... )

Don't relax too soon. Just because she's actually used all the organs she's gotten so far doesn't mean she doesn't have lots of canning jars.
