Was I the only one who put off doing the taxes until the last minute? Apparently not, from the lines ahead of me, but I found a post office open. *sigh* I had good intentions. Really. Yes, I put it off until Monday, but I planned to get it out that afternoon. Unfortunately, I spent the entire day in the hospital

I've invested in Turbo Tax for the last few years. $40 to do my taxes and get it done in February is really nice. Takes maybe an hour tops. I use turbotax because I've gone to school or my exhusband was in school and we also gave to charities and being married etc. it was just easier to do it that way. And now that i'm in graduate school turbotax is nice b/c it calculates the break on my taxes I get for paying for school.

Unfortunately, it was too easy to see that we owed a lot of money. Looking for loopholes that weren't there sucks a lot. For some godawful reason, Gunthar's work has him down for 3 exemptions, and I didn't work long enough to save him.
