We shall politely never speak about how long I needed to find the right Snape head for the pic. 😆 (But I was inspired by your boggart Snape and it sort went from there...)

I gather it was finding the enraged faced Snape that posed the difficulties, not finding the Bogart?
He looks like he was about to AK the Bogart. [Neville is currently hiding in fear for his life.]

Don't be sorry, I'm not. It just proves that you are having more fun with the HP Legos than most of the ones the package claims is the appropriate & socially approved age to play with them.
AND you are mixing and matching the various figures' accessories the way Legos were intended to be used in play.

My only disappointment (with the company's figurine) is that the scowling Snape looks jowlier than the other figures. (It makes his face look fat.)

As for being one of 'those'; I know a guy who would do action figure dioramas. Most are in questionable taste; but topical. He did one of O.J.Simpson in the Bronco and for football season he puts Mr. T in a Barbie cheerleader outfit in the opposing team's colors.

And per your comment to mywitch, abut more drawings of LF coming out to play . . .why YES PLEASE & THANK-YOU!!!!!! XD

*smooch* 😘

I am seriously having way too much fun with my legos. (Currently Snape and Hermione are sharing a cuppa, she’s teasing him about his choice in cupwear. He’s unfazed.)

I agree they made him look very old. I think they were trying to reflect Alan Rickman, and I find it interesting that the Sirius and Remus lego minifig characters (nominally a bit older and a bit younger, respectively, than Severus) look a lot younger. Especially as Sirius has been through the mill by that point in the story.

I also find it very interesting that the knock off fake legos from China 1) tend to bundle Severus with Hermione and 2) make him look more the age the character should have been according to canon. Hmm. But I think lego would prefer people not ‘go there’ thought-wise. (As mental images go, I do think most people picture AR as Snape, and then the gap is... well) But I did smirk something furious that both sets from last year that include Snape also include Hermione. 😊 (Then again, they made her look about six, so... 😐)

Haha that is super cute! As I scroll down catching up on people's posts, perhaps I will discern the meaning behind it all...

Thanks! 😊

In explanation, I could have said ‘today is the day little Snapes want to come out to play’, but that would have probably lead to more ‘talented fuckers’ instead... lol

*waves* friended! 😊

Not random at all, it was a public post meant to drum up a little interest for fawkesylady’s prompt. (Totally defeats the purpose if it only gets seen by the flist. *nods*) And if it leads to expanding the flist, all the better. 😉
