Yeah, definitely faxing these articles to Turner. Trying to find out where/when/if I can get tested for this thing.
Because of how the virus is transmitted (same as HIV: body fluids), if I have it, then Colton pretty much definitely has it, too. It may not manifest the same in him as it has in me (Hell, it may just lay dormant for his entire life. There's no telling), but that's not our primary worry, anyways. His family is plagued from all sides with prostate cancer... which is the other disease linked directly to XMRV. (It shows up in roughly 40% of prostate cancer samples, and it's also found in more general tumor cells) So even if I didn't give him CFS, I may have shot his chances of cancer through the fucking roof. :|
