21 - Sequels - Have you ever written a sequel to a fic you wrote, and if so, why, and if not, how do you feel about sequels?
Yes, I have written sequels to my own fics. And by sequel, I mean any new story that comes sequentially/chronologically after another. I’m not going to quibble about what “sequel” means. Shadows of Sins is a sequel to The Mutant Sue Virus. My post-Supervillianess, Inc pieces are sequels to to the SV, Inc round robin. My contributions to The Interuniversal Travels of LEWD are part of a sequel to Muse on the Loose, etc. I guess I even do the occaisonal pre-quel. (I’m working on one right now.) LOL.
I can’t say that I either love or hate sequels. If there is more story to tell, go ahead and tell it. But if there isn’t really, then don’t do it just to do it. I have a few unpublished sequels that I’ve started but they have stalled out for one reason or another. Some I may come back to, some I may not. Only time will tell.
22 - Have you ever participated in a fest or a Big Bang? If so, write about your favorite experience in relation to one. If not, are there any you've thought about doing? And if not, why not?
23 - When you post, where do you post to? Just your journal? Just an archive? Your own personal site?
24 - Betaing - How many betas do you like to use to make sure there aren't any major flaws in your fic? Do you have a Beta horror story or dream story?
25 - Music - Do you listen to music while you write? Do you make playlists to get into a certain "mood" to write your fic? Do you need noise in general? Or do you need it completely quiet?
