other than my few stabs at Severus/Hermione, i've never really done a pairing that i couldn't handle.

otherwise, i'm constantly going after characters (and, by extension, pairings) that i've never written before so... yeah.

You're even more adventurous than I am, I think. I doubt there's too many pairings you can't handle.

I enjoyed reading Witness. There was a lot in there I wouldn't have attempted though. lol Blob - yeah. Well, I guess I did something similar w/Crabbe and Goyle, but that there was no romance involved in that one. lol

Yeah. Blob was something else. One of those I-can't-believe-I-went-there bits. LOL.

But the whole piece started with getting someone who was just about unlovable a steady girl. In for a penny, in for a metric tonne.

I've always had the sense that it was more a matter of Scott being hopelessly dependent on Jean than being hopelessly in love. And that just doesn't do it for me.

I think I need to go and read some Scott and Emma. I think that came after or around the time I stopped reading, so it's just not something I'm all that familiar with. But it sounds intriguing. ;)

I think Jean and Scott never got past the high school sweetheart stage and emotionally stunted each other on a fundamental level. Also, Jean was a ridiculous hypocrite in that relationship. "No, you have to be perfectly fine with me making eyes at Logan and making out with him from time to time but don't you DARE look at another woman!" Sure Jean. Whatever ( ... )
