That was so sweet. I love it so much. I am glad Luke got to impact Mara's, Ben's and Betrys' lives but he is also going back to HIS son. I can't believe this is almost over.

That was truly extraordinary! You are so right- the idea of the love between father and son and grief and loss are all integral the story of Skywalkers. A wonderful chapter, sad it is coming to a close!

Thank you! Yes, loss and grief are sadly staples of the Skywalker existance. But so are love, and without that, none of the rest are worth it.

Ginchy - I'm crying likea baby here!!! OGM this is beautiful! Much more so, than sappy romance - though it's that too - of best kind!!! Yes I understand Luke's realization and actions completely! And it's so darned right and perfect that I'm in complete loss of words! I love it that the Force is much more powerful than any device - that's exactly how it should be And Lumiya being the villain was a great move too!!!
I can't wait to see Luke meet Ben again! Adored that they could all five merge!!!

BTW I realize now why i missed teh updates - I commented on ch 14 without being logged in - and so I missed you reply too (the replies having been my cue to an update)

I'm so pleased you liked Luke's way home. I was a little afraid it was the easy way out, but then, he is the Grand Master and should be able to use the Force in such an extraordinary way. And I love that you love the romance and love that's in the story. I wanted it to be full of love and longing and realization. Thank you so, so much, gal!!!

For some reason, Artoo beeping that he misses Luke really got to me, I think maybe even more than the others. And those holos - I'm glad Luke got to see that.

Beautiful end to the chapter - and Luke needing to realise the power of love in order to get back home. Shades of the Wizard of Oz - Luke could have always clicked the ruby slippers to get back home, but needed to believe it, to heal himself and trust himself. I love that.

Yes. The idea of Artoo missing Luke is like an arrow through the heart!! Because eventually the others will be with him again in the Force, but Artoo... *cries* I hate that!! The Force needs to make special allowances.

I'm glad you loved the holos and the ending--he needed to trust himself, you are so right.

Awww, thanks!! This is definitely what I needed to get me started again. I was writing it but got stalled out on chapter 5. But I do plan to finish it, no worries!
