Thank you!! I know it's a hard story to read. It was hard to write at times, especially thinking of Mara's life without her Luke. I hope that the next few chapters will satisfy. I'm with you on the bond. I like that it's unique to their respective partners, and I didn't even really think of what you said, that if they had the bond and it was broken again that it would be like them dying all over again! That's making ME well up. Thanks for peeking in!!

I read this already yesterday before going to bed - just HAD to even though I was deadly tired. And I've been speculating like mad since what it is that makes this story so awesome!? The pacing is much of it - it's simply so skilfully written - but also that the profound knowledge and love for the characters shines through in every word. And then there's the... maturity. That's the only word I can think of describing it. It's paradise, lost and refound and probably lost again - and yet no regret. The moment when Mara gives her word to help Luke get back to Ben just captures this perfectly! And that moment is one of the darnest most beautiful, low-voiced moments I've ever read!

You're making me tear up!! That is exactly, exactly, exactly what I was going for with EoA. I remember telling several different people that I wanted it to be 'adult'--not as in racy but mature in tone. I'm so glad that it's reading that way. And I'm so, so happy that it is leaving an impression on you. *hugs* Thank you!! <3

Thank you but I'm sorry for breaking your heart! (Please don't die. ;) ) I was afraid I was going a little too heavy on the heartache, but I felt that way post-Sacrifice and with a loss so huge, I think Luke would, too.

Speaking of your fic... any updates soon??? :D :D

I hope you'll like the conclusion. I usually dislike the endings to my fics (ask Nanci, I have a complex!) but I love the ending to EoA... and hope everyone else will, too!!

Love love love - this Luke and Mara have such a way with each other - and it's different from our Luke and Mara, and their Luke and Mara, but it still feel right and beautiful and I just adore that they've been able to find a bit of peace in one another.

I can also see Mara/Kyle, in that situation, trying to help each other out. He seems like the logical choice.

And I just loved Mara's explanation for 'The Note' - it actually makes such sense from coming from this Mara, and I hope it gives Luke a bit of comfort.
