"Echoes of Always" - Luke/Mara - Chapter 5, Feb. 27

I had the hardest time with this chapter... What would you do with slightly less than 24 hours with the love of your life that you thought you'd never see again? Generally I would have gone straight for the 'shine, but there are extenuating circumstances.

Eek! It didn't work! I'm not sure how I feel about this-- I want Luke and Mara to be able to live happily ever after, but I can't get the thought of Ben out of my mind! But a lovely chapter as always :)

Luke and Ben's relationship made me so sad before Sacrifice. I was so happy to see a wonderful relationship between them in Outcast!

I've been lax - sorry!

This chapter was so wonderful - I had a lump in my throat when Luke realised that his other self had stopped the mission and things had been so different. It's so sad because Luke would willingly sacrifice his life if it meant Anakin and Jacen were alive, and now he has the guilt of it, even though it's not his fault.

I am a little bit happy that the jump didn't work :D
