I saw the posters in St Pancras, but they didn't have the free-flowing butterflies. Your moths are very pretty, most exciting insect I've seen up here on the 5th floor is a hoverfly.
Speaking of the Hummingbird Hawkmoths,we get loads of them round here, I need to see if I can get a picture or two of them in the garden. We have a massive Oleander bush, and they come to it now and again, though , I'm not sure then feeding from it is such a good idea XD
We can tell when we have them in the garden because D will come tear arsing into the house screaming, he's terrified of any winged insect and refuses to go outside unless we go with him and make sure it's 'safe'
Not sure, moths are, but then if it has wings he'll run behind me or leap of his current perch and flee from the room.
He insists Butterflies are ok, but I'm not so sure. When he was about 4-5 we were in the car and heading out, so we're on a stretch of country road in the Camargue ( laden with dragonflies) and suddenly he's screaming A la shower scene, murder victim.
Chris slams on the breaks, narrowly avoids a three car pile up and leaps out the car to see what in the unholy fuck is going on.
I twist round to see D rigid with fear , mouth open and screaming without taking a breath. There is a dragonfly the size of my hand and bright blue pinging off the roof and windows trying to get out and taking dives towards D's face.
Chris open the car , lets the offending bug out and D collapses into hysterical sobbing ( he was strapped into his chair too so no escape there)
Poor little sod has been scared shitless of anything with wings, including daddy long legs, ever since.
I was riding my bike at night once in Belize and was travelling pretty fast. Unfortunately a dragonfly was travelling fast in the opposite direction and hit me square in the teeth.
God I freaked.
And I'm not even scared of dragonflies. It was just such a shock.

I'd love to see an Emperor moth too.
