Stunning work!

I've always found the shape of resting moths both creepy and beautiful. I'm not sure what it is about them.

Probably because they look like they're crouching when resting, and some of them have "eye" patterns.

Those moths look gorgeous, they even look like they've got that fuzzy moth texture that makes you just want to touch them until you look at your finger and the remnants of the scales (much like when I was a kid) and go 'awwwnoooo.'

Ah yeah, I used to do that with butterflies and then go :(. FWIW when I had the Moon Moths, they were large enough that I could stroke their fuzzy bodies without touching the wings.

I love these ! Funny you should post the months too, I'm knitting something called a Luna Moth Shawl :D it's designed to look like a Lunar Months antennas in a large knitted triangle. Totally thought of you when casting on :)
