The pic is small here but if you click on it you can see it full size. These are the characters I'm working on as my personal project for fun. I love designing devils. The girl is in a corset-type thing because I haven't worked out what her clothing should be yet. If anyone can point me to a good online reference with 1920s style stage costume I ( Read more... )

I'd say googling for "flapper" should give you some reasonable references.

the folies bergere were variety/musichall girls in paris. Some really wild stage costumes.
See if you can find the film 'Pandora's Box' with Louise Brooks, she was an early bobbed flapper typ and there will be lots of photos of her too. Josephine Baker might be another interstihng person to look up.
