Thanks to everyone

Thanks to everyone who wished me well...I'm up and around pretty well, rested most of yesterday, of course. Came home 4 hours after my surgery, ate a sandwich, took some oxycontin and went to bed. LOL Got up for dinner and then messed around on the computer a bit. If I time the pain pill right, I can sit for about 3 hours before I need to lie down ( Read more... )

I missed your other post while I was away. I'm sorry you had to have surgery. I hope your recovery will be speedy and not too uncomfortable.

Thanks Sharon..no problem. I've had this problem with my gall bladder for quite a few years, and it had gotten really bad in the last couple of months.

Very glad it's over with, and thanks for your good wishes. Hugs!

You're going to feel so much better than you did before after you heal up. Take it easy and don't over-extend yourself.

Ah, too late. I had to be ordered to bed today for a long nap by the hubby.

I got cranky, weepy and irritable from pain and exhaustion and he sent me to bed with two pain pills, and I slept all afternoon.

I'll try to behave myself the rest of the week.

100 stones? Wow, that does sound painful. On the other hand, that just makes it all the better to have it out. Its also gratifying to see that it really was the cause of your pain. I've known a couple of people who had gall bladder surgery only to find out that wasn't the source of their pain.

Please continue to get better!

Yeah, I had a LOT of tests to determine it was my gallbladder...but it was obvious from the ultra sound especially that it was enlarged and full of stones.

The healing up pain I'm having now is a different kind, and will be over soon...the almost constant gallbladder colic was worse, believe me!
