Thank you for the update. It's nice to hear from folks who used to be quite active then drifted away. I'm so glad you're doing well! CT is lovely (my dad's side of the family are from Milford and I spent several years there when I was a child) and close enough to NY to enjoy the culture if you're in the mood. Happy New Year!

Hey, thanks for the thanks! CT is indeed quite lovely where I am. I was just in NYC a couple of days ago. It is a relief to be able to maintain my friendships there.

No, I haven't changed it; I don't think you really knew me but I was a faithful Snapecast follower. I'm an academic too, so I've always sort of been interested in your progress in that regard.

Gina! It’s so great to have this update. I got back on FB after well over a year’s hiatus and you came up on my feed. I saw renos and thought... that can’t be New York... and found my way to good old livejournal. It’s hard to picture you outside of NY in some ways but it seems like this has been an amazing move... tenure track, and real space to live! Congrats girl. I’ve been in VT this last year on a Visiting Assistant Professorship which has just mercifully renewed. My marriage ended last April. My book’s coming out in the fall... So life goes! Big hugs - currently from San Fran.
