I'm on holiday. But alas, I am not at Gally. T-Rex is having a spot of bother with his back, you might say. So we opted to stay behind. I am taking the opportunity to dissertate and catch up on some things around the house. I'm also binge-watching All Creatures Great and Small.

Yes, I've been reading about your horrible weather. Wind and rain and loss of power and torn roofs, etc.

As for gov't response, I was shocked to learn schools were open today.

The snow in NYC has taken over. It's turning into the best stay-cation ever just because I've no need to go out into it!

Around Amsterdam, it was coming down heavilyenough to obscure even St John's, across the street. It seems to have cleared up quite a bit now, though, as visibility has greatly improved.

I spent all of yesterday at his place cleaning up, making sandwiches, and hanging out. Not the most romantic of Valentine's Days, but a good one nonetheless because we were together.

There isn't a place left on the planet that has more snow than NYC right now. We've been hit with one snowstorm after another and it's snowing again as I type!
