And just like that, summer is here. It's nearing the end of May and I've already had cause for turning on the A/C. The clock is ticking on me getting dissertation writing done (I plan to send something in to my committee in July). And I haven't even posted the pictures I took at the Pride Parade nearly a year ago. I've been totally ( Read more... )

Thanks! So far, not better. But I'm hopeful that this weekend will improve matters. Else, I might be forced to take a proper holiday!

I must say the green tea ice looks quite odd! Are those berries underneath?
Congrats to you and T.Rex! We had our 1 year anniversary since I arrived here on 29 April.

They are adzuke beans. So I guess it was sort of healthy!

Wow, a year on 29 April. Where did the time go?!

Congratulations on your upcoming anniversary! And mmm, green tea shaved ice.

T-Rex went to the Waystation with some other Whovians and wound up meeting Matt Smith and Steven Moffat there.

JEALOUS. I heard about Moffat, Vertue, and Smith turning up at the Waystation and wished I could have been there -- sucks being 250 miles away.

T-Rex saw a tweet from Vertue earlier in the day and surmised she might be there. It was a logical assumption that Moffat might too. But he had no idea about Matt Smith.

If it makes you feel any better, I could have been there - and I was only 5 miles or so away! Yaaaaargh.

awww, yay for a year of you and t-rex!

also, your CSA posts always make me wish i lived somewhere that had something like that (instead of living somewhere surrounded by farms... that only seem to grow corn or cotton, haha)

Awwww! I promise I will try to make some blog posts this summer about my CSA. But you can search to see if there is one in your area!

Try:

or there's a list of other search engines here

And yeah, I bet half the corn crown near you isn't even edible...
