Er, yeah, so, I wound up having a surprisingly emotionally upsetting experience yesterday followed by nausea for several hours - and hence not much work done. Soooooo, I went ahead and
ordered the damn cape

Why do capes, and gifs of Noel, bring so much joy?

It's a question for the great philosophical minds of our time, definitely. *g* I just know that they do bring joy!
And yes, you do! That would make a gorgeous icon. I find it kind of a hypnotic GIF, to be honest. I could watch him twirl for ages.

On Downton Abbey. Watched it, and enjoyed it. There's an uneven but fun spoof of it linked here that I just watched this morning:

It's worth it if only for Simon Callow as Julian Fellowes, but there are enough other excellent actors to make it quite fun.
