Tonight is the midnight release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I'll be going with hp-nyc (aka TGTSNBN) and will see vraidaae, macbeemer and erratic0101 among others there. pomona513 and I will be dressing up in our Hogwarts uniforms and making a slumber party of it (she's crashing at Hogwarts on the Hudson). WHEEEEE!!!!!!!! :D Our LVBHS group is going to a midnight show, and several group members are bringing other folks, so all told, I think we'll have around 30 folks there "together" and all in the same auditorium. LOL I'm planning on wearing my uniform and robes as well, and using my Hogwarts bag (with the pins!) to carry stuff (like a box of tissues, since I KNOW I'm gonna cry at parts *snerk*). I'm so jazzed! It's always so much fun getting together with my Potter-family that I don't even care too much if the movie ends up being wretched. ;) Have a great time, darlin! *hugs*

Local theater, which has some sort of new XD PROJECTION SYSTEM (whatever that is, but it cost us $2 extra per ticket). Me, Jess, kidlet, and our friend Izzy. I think we're all dressing as students. My Lucius costume is temporarily disassembled for some modifications and Sirius requires facial hair I don't have the energy to deal with. I feel like with my slyth tie, sweater vest, and jacket, I'm actually channeling young Tom Riddle. :)

Hah, you are on your way already... I hear the movie is a bit "art film". And any movie featuring a Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds song gets goodness points just for that!

I recorded a bunch of people in the line party, btw. I hope it will be useful for the podcast.

I rather liked the film. I didn't find it arty at all, though now that I think about it some of the camping scenes were gorgeous.
