This weekend I ran the risk of having my Puerto Rican heritage revoked for making truly hippyish black beans. But I made them with tomatillo guacamole, using a recipe from the NYTimes.
Actually, I'm not a fan of the Chipmunks either. I put it on my iPod to annoy my co-workers who kept insisting on playing that horrible Christmas song by Mariah Carey, and just never took it off. But there aren't many songs that begin with the letter J, so . . .
As for Noel, I once read an interview where he said he'd like his last meal to be fish fingers, baked beans and peas - cafeteria food that fits well in the little try squares. I think it was the tray squares that interested him, to be honest.
I've read that he's a vegetarian, but he seems to go back and forth on that so the evidence is mixed. sorry to hear your pancreas hasn't been your friend. As a Type 1 diabetic, I also have a wonky pancreas. And I am also a vegetarian. Well, mostly vegetarian.
And I'll give you the letter B for Boosh and Barrett. ^_^
Oh, yum. That looks and sounds delicious. Now I have a craving for guacamole!
I had to smile at the interview, because... yeah, I'm somehow completely unsurprised that his primary interest is in the aesthetics of food, rather than actually, you know, eating it. I'd figured him for having the palate of a ten-year-old boy with a sweet tooth (Vince had to get his junk food habit from somewhere), but this pretty much confirms it. I find the idea of him drawing faces with his food rather charming, though. *g*
Good taste in music! I'll take a letter, if you're still giving them.
Pffft. You know what? I linked the interview and didn't even bother to mention it was with Noel Fielding. See what I wrote about to tehfanglyfish, btw, about his eating habits.
I loves my little Vincey! (I do love that icon, though. Cheeky grin and mirrorball suit!)
Ah, yeah. I agree with you. I had also heard that he was a vegetarian, but the bacon sandwiches and fish fingers would seem to contradict that, wouldn't they? I'm still loving the food faces thing, though. Now I kind of want to see a story where Vince does that, because it's just the sort of thing that Howard would find simultaneously endearing and annoying.
And y'know, I didn't even notice that you hadn't mentioned his name, because I suppose I just assumed it would be him. *g*

I would eat platanos on the side, not in the beans.

Food faces. Hmmmm. Might be a good ficlet for a challenge. OR, maybe something else to add to part 3 of Jazz Dalek?
:has thinky thoughts:
ETA: And yeah, I went back and mentioned his name. :snort: One track mind lately, much?!
