When Fornell mentioned that the little girl was his daughter and not his granddaughter, I was like, "Huh?!"

Since it appeared at the end of the ep like Gibbs is back at NCIS, I wonder what will happen to that new probie (the pretty Asian gal)? I like her, but she is one of those characters where no matter whether she stayed or left you would be all right with it.

Hahhahaha she handcuffs herself to Gibbs. “You’re a flight risk.”

We know who Gibbs wishes would handcuff themselves to his bed post him-- Tony. ^__~

McGee's extra bright chompers were a hoot. I loved the way he was smiling at Gibbs being back at his desk.

I know! I was like ummmmm TOO OLD for that...

Yeah, I dunno what they're going to do with the new Probie. McGee is always going to be Tony's probie, just like Gibbs still got called Probie by his bossman.

I suspect the whole handcuffing thing would be a Tony fantasy. Gibbs is much like Mac-- no frills, nothing fancy or too kinky. Just them. And as much as he loves his little boyfriend, it wouldn't take long before he wanted to smack him if he was stuck cuffed to him. At least Abby is his little girl. He'd have an easier time with him.

Everyone's happy to have him back-- except Ducky, who is, but is still REALLY REALLY PISSED.

I'm glad that they mentioned what became of the Probie-- she was transferred to accounting (if I am remembering correctly).

Probably, but you never know nowadays with the "new" Gibbs. Gibbs, as most of the group-- especially Tony and Ducky-- have noticed, is slightly off after losing parts of his memory, then temporarily retiring. I sort of miss the old Gibbs, as well.

Yep. Ducky seemed really irked that Gibbs hadn't went to his graduation(?). Also, Gibbs appears to be somewhat cold towards Ducky now. -_-

The new probie just wasn't field agent style-- especially for a team demanding as Gibbs/Tony.

Well, they are noting a funamental shift in the fabric of who he is. Jenny pointed out that he might not be able to survive another incident, and I think Ducky's biggest problem is that he is still extremely upset about Jethro up and leaving without telling anyone. or saying goodbye. He's not hesitant to express that either. And Gibbs, being Gibbs, isn't going to go and apologize or try to make things better. He'll just wait for Ducky to cave, and maybe this time, it might not happen.

I think, though, playing off a 'new Gibbs' gives Mark something to work with, a different aspect to the character. I don't think it necessarily plays as big of a part as they want it to-- Tony's concern and deference to Gibbs is intersting. I wouldn't be suprised if they make it more obvious that Gibbs' memory resembles swiss cheese, and that really, he's doing incredibly well at faking remembering a lot of things.
