Awwww! I love that you give Neal the chance to be as free as possible -- and then you bring him home again. :)

Thanks, glad you liked it. :-)

I think it's something we could see-- Neal needing his space for a while. I know I'd probably be the same way.

Oh, very nice! This feels quite possible, that Neal would immediately want to spread his wings and get far away from NYC...but then choose to return. The OT3 is the icing on the cake :)

Thank you, glad you liked it! :-)

I really think it's a plausible need for Neal-- to prove to himself he still is who he is, go see the world-- but then come back home because he actually has it pretty good now.

And, well. I just couldn't turn down the idea that eventually, when all the strings and regulations were done, that maybe they'd let their guard down and accept the inevitable. ;-)

loved it! Especially that Peter knows what a random number means

Peter knows Neal. They both thrive on puzzles and codes. By then, he'd REALLY know what makes him tick, and even if he didn't know it right away, he'd hold out hope that it means what he thinks it does. (And Elizabeth would still want to believe that Neal meant it when he said he'd come home to her.)
