I love it when Stark underestimates Carter. Always makes the games more interesting...

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it.
I think for a very long time, Nathan does underestimate Jack. Because it seems everyone in the town does, really. Just because he doesn't have a PhD, doesn't mean he's not actually the smartest person in the town. ;-)

Nathan is a fun character to work with, and I rather think he doesn't get as much attention as others. :-/
No, sorry. No sequels. It's just not how my brain works. I'm still hoping, however, to be inspired by the new season to write some more Eureka (even though White Collar is currently eating my brain.)

Everyone in the town consistently underestimates Jack-- I don't think Nathan would be any exception. But, I also think he could change his mind when presented with enough evidence.

"Mayberry" has always stuck in my head ever since Nathan kinda blurts it out in 'Purple Haze'. It made me wonder how long exactly had he been labeling Jack that in his head? Probably a while.
Anyone who's done work in the sciences can appreciate how as you work an experiment how your results can change your opinion of the matter at hand. Nathan's not immune to it either. ;-)
