The crowd listened in awe of Junsu’s powerful vocals and how good he was at expressing the feeling of the song. He was one of the best of the night so far and the crowd expressed well enough for they cheered and gave him a standing ovation as he hit the last note of the song. Hyoyeon looked over at her brother as she played the last note on the piano and smiled; he had done an amazing job despite the nerves.
Over at the guys’ soccer team table, Top cheered as loud as he could, feeling absolutely proud of Junsu. He loved hearing the older man sing and it always brought a smile to his face. Next to him, Chansung clapped, amazed at how good of singer this guy was. He had to meet him, even if it was just one quick time, but he wanted to tell him how good he sounded. Junsu quickly stepped off the stage as he bowed at everyone and walked over to Hyoyeon to quickly hugged him before heading to the stage and continuing her job as MC.
“That was Kim Junsu with ‘I Was Crazy About You.’ He was great wasn’t he?” Hyoyeon mentioned to the crowd and everyone cheered again. “Is anyone else out there willing to impress us? Come up and show us~”
Feeling inspired by his crush’s performance, Top raised his hand and headed over to the stage. He wasn’t a singer or a poet, but with a good beat he could easily come up with a nice flow. He wanted to express his feelings to Junsu all while being discreet. Hyoyeon walked over to the DJ booth and quickly started up a beat for him, and Top started feeling it before he began to rap.
Junsu on the other hand, was completely oblivious as to what Top was doing and headed over to the bar feeling relieved that he was able to perform so well even with all the nerves trying to get him down. As soon as he took a seat on an empty stool, he was joined by Chansung who took the seat next to him.
“Hey, you were really good up there. I was impressed. You have a beautiful voice and the song was really good.” Chansung complimented Junsu as he smiled at him. Junsu quickly turned to look at him and blushed. Not only was Chansung talking to him for the first time, but he was complementing him. Junsu thought he almost fell off the stool.
“Uh…um…thank you.” Junsu could only give him a cheesy grin for he was at loss for words. Chansung smiled back at him, “I guess I should have introduced myself first, I’m Hwang Chansung.”
“Kim Junsu.” Junsu replied before they were interrupted by Jessica. “What will you boys be having tonight?
“I’ll have a beer, Hite, and for you…?” Chansung looked over at Junsu waiting for his reply. “An apple martini.”
“An apple martini for my friend, thanks.” Chansung smiled at Jessica before turning his attention back to Junsu. Jessica raised an eyebrow then smiled at the sight of the two boys. It seemed like Junsu might finally get a boyfriend.
“So Junsu, did you write that song yourself?” Chansung asked.
“Yeah, I did. I write every song I perform because I just don’t feel right singing someone else’s song unless it’s karaoke. It makes me feel like I’m copying them. Silly huh?” Junsu looked down as he smiled feeling silly for even confessing something like that.
“Here you are boys. Junsu want me to add this to your tab?” Jessica asked him as she handed both of them their drinks.
“I’ll pay for them. No need to charge the star of the night for anything.” Chansung genuinely smiled at Jessica and then at Junsu as he placed his hand on the older man’s shoulder. Jessica once again raised an eyebrow at Junsu before smirking and nodding. Chansung handed her the money for the drinks and then Jessica walked away leaving the two of them to continue their conversation.
“You’re not gonna stop complementing me are you?” Junsu blushed once more. Chansung was more amazing than he expected.
“How can I stop? Not only are you really talented, but you’re also really handsome.” Chansung reach over and ran his finger down the side of Junsu’s face. He had the urge to kiss the older man but he didn’t want to move too fast.
At this moment, Top had finished his performance and as the crowd clapped for him, he searched the club for any sight of Junsu in hopes that he had been listening. As his sight danced around the people at the bar, he spotted Junsu blushing at Chansung’s touch. Top gritted his teeth as he bowed to crowd and walked away from the stage and headed directly towards them.
“Hey Junsu! Your performance was really awesome tonight. It inspired me to get up there too.” Top smiled as he interrupted Chansung and Junsu’s moment. He didn’t want to sound completely enraged about what he had seen but he wasn’t going to let Chansung be all over the guy he wanted for himself.
“Oh, uh, thanks Top and you just finished performing?” Junsu looked up at him and saw Top’s expression fall as he realized Junsu had not paid any attention to his performance.
“Yeah, I did…I guess Chansung here distracted you.” He turned to look at the younger man and gritted his teeth once more.
“Whoa, Top, you know Junsu? You must come here often then.” Chansung asked as he looked over at both men.
“Yeah I do. Junsu also goes to our school, but I guess you wouldn’t have known that since you’re pretty new too.” Top replied sounding completely annoyed.
“What?! No way! You go to Korea University too Junsu? Oh man, maybe we’ll have some classes together! Unless we’re in completely different grade.” Chansung laughed at his last comment but he was excited to know he would get to see Junsu more often now.
“Yeah, I go to KU and I’m a junior.” Junsu laughed along with Chansung.
“Ah~ me too! How awesome is that?! Hey, you gotta come to my soccer practices. I’m the new goalie for the varsity team.” Chansung was grinning from ear to ear.
“Oh really? Cool, I’ll have to check out your practice tomorrow then. How funny, I watch Jessica practice with my sister but I hadn’t noticed you out in the field today.” Junsu tried to sound like he didn’t know about Chansung at all and so far it seemed to work. Top on the other hand couldn’t take the site of the two of them talking to each other so he simply walked away pissed off. He would have a talk with Chansung tomorrow and let him know to stay away from what belonged to him.
Off on their own table, Jokwon and Key had been intently looking at the scene happening at the bar. They were desperate to know what had been said between the three guys but they could only come up with their own conclusions about the whole situation.
“I have a feeling Top is gonna keep serious tabs on Chansung. You know how infatuated he is with Junsu.” Key commented.
“I know. What I can’t understand though is why Junsu never paid attention to Top though. I mean, that man is so fine he makes me want to get my nails done every time I see him.” Jokwon mentioned as he looked down at his nails.
“Well, since you let Junsu have Chansung, I guess you can move in on Top now. How could he resist someone as fabulous as you?” Key grinned at his best friend.
“Girl, I know. I will make my move trust me and help Junsu get Top off him.” Jokwon and Key giggled away.
“Top will be topping me soon if you know what I mean.” He winked at Key and the two started laughing harder than before.
“Kwon will you shut up already! I wanna listen to this chick’s performance. She was the one standing by Hyoyeon earlier. Ah, I hope Hyoyeon didn’t put the moves on her.” GaIn placed her hands on her cheeks and shook her head.
“Bitch, don’t tell me to shut up! Slut.” Kwon snapped at his older sister and she glared at him.
“I’m not the one chasing after every dick he sees! Whore.” GaIn snapped back at him and Kwon looked appalled and Key simply laughed. She then turned her attention to the older woman on the stage who was intently rapping away.
By this time Junsu had already left the bar and joined Hyoyeon at the DJ booth along with Chansung and the two had already been introduced to each other. The two guys were bobbing their heads at the beat and powerful rap Miryo was performing and Hyoyeon smiled as she looked at the two of them. Her intuition told her that her older brother had found the boyfriend he was longing for. After taking her eyes off them, she turned to the girl she had been looking at all night.
When Miryo finished performing, everyone cheered and clapped as she bowed at them and then stepped off the stage. Hyoyeon then walked over to stage to wrap up the event of the night. “Awesome performance by Miryo! Give another round of applause.”
As the crowed settled down, she continued. “Well, that’s it for tonight. Thank you everyone for coming out to participate and listen to our performers. Once again, Singers & Poets Night was a success and it was thanks to all you! Have a goodnight and if you’re staying, please enjoy our after show dance hour.”
She quickly walked off the stage when she finished closing the event, and quickly turned on the mix she had prepared for the rest of the night. Some of the costumers left while others stayed to enjoy the rest of the night. Hyoyeon, then walked over to the girl she had been checking out all night. The raven haired woman smirked at Hyoyeon as she approached her table.
“Hey there, how’s it going?” Hyoyeon smiled at her she took her seat.
“Pretty good, I really enjoyed the show tonight.” She replied as she smiled at the shorter girl.
“Oh really, well I thought you might have been a little tired seeing as how you had been running circles all around my thoughts tonight. I guess that explains why you have such gorgeous legs.” Hyoyeon grinned as she looked down at the taller woman’s legs that were showing a lot of skin due to her short skirt.
The taller woman laughed at Hyoyeon’s pick up line but she couldn’t help but blush too. She was impressed by Hyoyeon’s charisma. “I’m Yoojin, but you can call me Uee.” She smiled at Hyoyeon.
“Hyoyeon, but you can call me anything you want.” Hyoyeon once again grinned.
Over at the DJ booth, Junsu had noticed his sister intently flirting with a girl and shook his head. There wasn’t a day when Hyoyeon wasn’t hooking up with someone. “Ah, there isn’t a day Hyo doesn’t pick up a girl.” He sighed and Chansung gave him a questioning look.
“Hey, could you give me back the CD I gave the DJ earlier?” Miryo asked Junsu as she approached the booth.
“Oh sure.” Junsu quickly took out the CD from the player and placed it back in the jewel case it came in and handed it to Miryo. “By the way, you were really good. Did you write that or did you just freestyle?”
“Thanks and I wrote that particular rap but I do freestyle.” She responded as she took the CD.
“That’s great~ Hey, I was thinking, um, I write songs but I’ve been thinking of adding raps to some of them but I just can’t seem to get it right. Maybe we could collaborate on something sometime.” Junsu suggested and hoped Miryo would agree. He really liked her style and thought she could come up with something good.
“Hmm…that sounds like a cool idea. I heard your song and you’re talented. If we trade numbers then we can talk more about this in depth.” She took out her phone, ready to add Junsu’s number.
“Good idea but uh, I don’t really have a phone right now. How about I just write down yours and give you a call?” Junsu told her as he quickly grabbed the notepad and pen Hyoyeon kept on a corner of the turn table. Miryo nodded and began to give Junsu her number as Jokwon, Key and GaIn approached them.
“Hey Chansung~” Jokwon waved at him and so did Key. Chansung waved back at them as well since he remembered them being in his Korean class.
“Junsu~~ Kwon and I are like so amazed with you ability. Really, that song and performance was so awesome tonight.” Key told him as he and Kwon hugged him.
“Thanks guys!” Junsu smiled as he hugged his two friends and then all four guys began talking to each other. Meanwhile, GaIn took her opportunity to introduce herself to Miryo.
“Hi, I’m GaIn and I have to tell you that I really enjoyed your performance.” She shook the older woman’s hand and blushed at the same time.
“Thanks and nice to meet you. Name’s Miryo, but I need to get going. It’s late and I need to work tomorrow. Have a goodnight.” She bowed at GaIn and quickly took off leaving the younger woman to just simply see her walk away. GaIn felt a little sad watching her walk away, but she understood why she had to leave.
The next day, Junsu, Hyoyeon and Jessica found themselves walking up to the main building of the university. They all had the same physics class that morning and they didn’t want to be late because they had heard this particular professor could be really strict.
“Hyo, I don’t know how you do it really. You made it home extremely late I believe and you managed to get up before Junsu and I did.” Jessica commented.
“I had a really good time last night and when that happens, I get up refreshed and excited to start off the new day.” Hyoyeon grinned.
“Yeah, because you’re hoping to find your next lover for the day.” Junsu told her and stuck his tongue out at her. Hyoyeon chuckled but continued to grin.
“So, who was the girl you left with last night?” Jessica asked her as she raised an eyebrow.
“She told me she was a model and her name was…um…Uee or something like that.” Hyoyeon scratched her head as she tried to remember any details of the girl.
“Uee and a model? That sounds familiar.” Jessica said as she tried to think of where she had heard that name.
“Oh my god! Duh! Uee! She’s the daughter of that baseball coach Kim Sungkap, and she’s like one of the favorite models for all the top magazines like Vogue and Elle. Damn sis, you sure know how to pick them.” Junsu snapped his fingers as he recalled his knowledge of this popular model.
“And you sure know how to show off your gay side. You’re more of a girl than I am.” Hyoyeon snickered.
“Hey! It’s all Kwon’s fault. He makes me look at the magazines with him and Key.” Junsu pouted and Jessica giggled.
“Junsu! Junsu!” Tiffany quickly came up running to the three of them shouting out Junsu’s name and holding a black box in her hand. They turned around to look at her and stopped walking.
As she reached them she stopped running and quickly caught her breath then handed the box to Junsu. “I told my dad about what happened yesterday and he told me to give you this phone. I hope you like it.”
“Oh wow, thanks Tiffany. You got it faster than I expected.” Junsu smiled and opened the box and then his jaw dropped, along with Hyoyeon’s and Jessica’s who also looked inside the box.
“Ti-ti-tiffany….this is uh…oh my goodness. AN LG CYON CHOCOLATE?! This phone is like six hundred thousand won!” Junsu was freaking out because he couldn’t believe what kind of phone Tiffany got him and also because of excitement.
“Shit, break my phone too will ya?” Hyoyeon commented as she looked at the shiny sleek phone inside the box.
“Yeah, mine too.” Jessica added. Tiffany smiled her trademark smile as she look at the three of them. “My dad works for LG so he gets them for free.”
“Tiffany oh my goodness! Thank you so much!” Junsu quickly embraced her in a tight hug and Tiffany felt her cheeks become red.
“You’re welcome! I’m glad you like it.” She told him as he let go of her.
“Like it?! I love it! I can’t wait to get it activated. Thank you so much once again.” Junsu grinned with excitement.
Behind them, or in this case it would be more like in front of them if they turned around, Gyuri intently glared at the group of friends, specifically Hyoyeon. Next to her Nicole and Seungyeon waited to see exactly what Gyuri was going to tell Hyoyeon after not showing up last night where Gyuri had requested to meet.
“Kim Hyoyeon!” Gyuri quickly shouted out her name and when Hyoyeon heard her voice, she froze before turning around to see the death glare Gyuri was giving her.

“Thanks guys!” Junsu smiled as he hugged his two friends and then all four guys began talking to each other. Meanwhile, GaIn took her opportunity to introduce herself to Miryo.
“Hi, I’m GaIn and I have to tell you that I really enjoyed your performance.” She shook the older woman’s hand and blushed at the same time.
“Thanks and nice to meet you. Name’s Miryo, but I need to get going. It’s late and I need to work tomorrow. Have a goodnight.” She bowed at GaIn and quickly took off leaving the younger woman to just simply see her walk away. GaIn felt a little sad watching her walk away, but she understood why she had to leave.
The next day, Junsu, Hyoyeon and Jessica found themselves walking up to the main building of the university. They all had the same physics class that morning and they didn’t want to be late because they had heard this particular professor could be really strict.
“Hyo, I don’t know how you do it really. You made it home extremely late I believe and you managed to get up before Junsu and I did.” Jessica commented.
“I had a really good time last night and when that happens, I get up refreshed and excited to start off the new day.” Hyoyeon grinned.
“Yeah, because you’re hoping to find your next lover for the day.” Junsu told her and stuck his tongue out at her. Hyoyeon chuckled but continued to grin.
“So, who was the girl you left with last night?” Jessica asked her as she raised an eyebrow.
“She told me she was a model and her name was…um…Uee or something like that.” Hyoyeon scratched her head as she tried to remember any details of the girl.
“Uee and a model? That sounds familiar.” Jessica said as she tried to think of where she had heard that name.
“Oh my god! Duh! Uee! She’s the daughter of that baseball coach Kim Sungkap, and she’s like one of the favorite models for all the top magazines like Vogue and Elle. Damn sis, you sure know how to pick them.” Junsu snapped his fingers as he recalled his knowledge of this popular model.
“And you sure know how to show off your gay side. You’re more of a girl than I am.” Hyoyeon snickered.
“Hey! It’s all Kwon’s fault. He makes me look at the magazines with him and Key.” Junsu pouted and Jessica giggled.
“Junsu! Junsu!” Tiffany quickly came up running to the three of them shouting out Junsu’s name and holding a black box in her hand. They turned around to look at her and stopped walking.
As she reached them she stopped running and quickly caught her breath then handed the box to Junsu. “I told my dad about what happened yesterday and he told me to give you this phone. I hope you like it.”
“Oh wow, thanks Tiffany. You got it faster than I expected.” Junsu smiled and opened the box and then his jaw dropped, along with Hyoyeon’s and Jessica’s who also looked inside the box.
“Ti-ti-tiffany….this is uh…oh my goodness. AN LG CYON CHOCOLATE?! This phone is like six hundred thousand won!” Junsu was freaking out because he couldn’t believe what kind of phone Tiffany got him and also because of excitement.
“Shit, break my phone too will ya?” Hyoyeon commented as she looked at the shiny sleek phone inside the box.
“Yeah, mine too.” Jessica added. Tiffany smiled her trademark smile as she look at the three of them. “My dad works for LG so he gets them for free.”
“Tiffany oh my goodness! Thank you so much!” Junsu quickly embraced her in a tight hug and Tiffany felt her cheeks become red.
“You’re welcome! I’m glad you like it.” She told him as he let go of her.
“Like it?! I love it! I can’t wait to get it activated. Thank you so much once again.” Junsu grinned with excitement.
Behind them, or in this case it would be more like in front of them if they turned around, Gyuri intently glared at the group of friends, specifically Hyoyeon. Next to her Nicole and Seungyeon waited to see exactly what Gyuri was going to tell Hyoyeon after not showing up last night where Gyuri had requested to meet.
“Kim Hyoyeon!” Gyuri quickly shouted out her name and when Hyoyeon heard her voice, she froze before turning around to see the death glare Gyuri was giving her.
