I'm sure Greyback would take the greatest pleasure in letting Remus know that any plans to scupper the night's events had failed - because he is so utterly twisted, and would enjoy playing games with life and death. Which would also be enough to drive anyone to despair over what good they thought they were doing against someone like that, I imagine. Poor Remus, indeed. :(

I may have a go at this...it might take a while, what with the laptop being out of commission. I'll see what I can do:D

I really do love this drabble, angsty though it is. The idea just works, it's something that would happen to our poor Moony(he has the worst luck).
