Someone presumed dead in the flood found 32 years later alive and well? In this modern age (yes 1976 included) how could someone live without notice for 32 years and be presumed dead the whole time?

Anyhow, thanks for sharing. That was one HUGE devastating flood... I don't think I could comprehend such a disaster without seeing it myself...

I remember hearing about that! (a few days after I made the original post!) Wild.

Honestly, seeing what I did of the flood damage made an indelible impression on my mind even then. That's the reason I don't want to let it be forgotten.
