I was five years old when I found out John was dead, my gran told me and I ended up in tears - then she had to tell me WHY he was dead. Poor Woman.

I was 20 (heh). I was living in Liverpool at the time, it was all quite heavy.

RIP indeed. I wonder how he'd've been at 69, what he'd have done in the last 29 years.

I like to think he'd have made up with Julian and had a close happy relation with both his sons and perhaps he and Paul could have got together every once in a while.

Oh, you pick them wild, I don't think anyone actually grows them except maybe commercial sloe-gin producers - they're pretty common.

Recipes are pretty interchangeable, these are typical.
