Thanks Gill. It's just bloody dreadful, for Gabrielle and more broadly that someone should have to worry about money for medical debts after a horrible time like this.

It makes me cross as well as sad - it's bad enough when you can't afford funeral costs, but to have to find the money to pay the hospital where her mother died is just atrocious.

We must cling grimly to the NHS at all costs.

Done. It is something our country should be ashamed of. But it is what it is. A terrible thing to happen to anyone.

It was a sudden-onset, very rare disease, which is bad enough, without having to pay for it. Thanks!
