I woke up relatively late, when my kind husband brought me coffee before he left for work. He retires at the end of the month, so I shall cherish this while it lasts.
You and me both on Brexit. I'm personally appalled but as a one time historian it is exerting a horrific fascination. I'm starting to think I need a news detox!
The quilt is lovely and the baby adorable.
I still get my tea in bed in the morning even though my husband has retired. I don't it occurred to him to stop bringing it to me :)
A beautiful quilt, but I would expect no less of you ;) R is totally gorgeous!
The rest is silence... (Am about to go to bed and don't want to start worrying when what I need to do is sleep).
We're off in a week. Do you think you might be able to come our way before then? I have successfully threaded my machine (it might not be how it's said, but that will have to do for now) and cut my trousers and pinned the hem up. I wanted to do the actual sewing tonight but I need some Zzzzz. I'll do that tomorrow. I'll probably also do another pair of trousers. All by myself!

I am still struggling with the whole idea of Brexit, and grasping at straws, frankly.
