Friday 12th June - monthlydiaryday entry: Hot and Hotter.

My entry this month for monthlydiaryday. A somewhat unusual entry this month, as we are in Tuscany, at the end of our annual holiday. Indeed, as I write, Dave is Tetrising the baggage into the car, an activity in which I am not welcome, so I stay out of the way.

Lovely photos! The light is quite different in Italy - that yellow would look awful in London on all but the sunniest days wouldn't it?

It's impossible to imagine that yellow working in a London street, but it looks lovely there, vibrant and striking.

That's the cutest house ever! The leather store looks irresistible. You *are* made of stronger stuff. (I would've shopped 'til I dropped, there.) And four flavors of gelato in one dish? *Gasp* Yum!

Four. Forest fruits, a creamy thing with chocolate sauce and crunchy bits, a different crunchy caramel type and a dark, dark, rich chocolate with a hint of hazelnut.

I have a special present from a friend which helped me deal with the leather shop. It's currently packed up in the car, but there will be photos. Watch this space.

Italy is beautiful, apart from the grimy industrial bits. But even those often have stunning backgrounds. You should go!

Aww, that sounds like a lovely holiday! And you got a lot of things seen and done.

But OMG those tiny books! I am in love with them. My figures surely would have great fun reading them! The book shelves aren't actually bad either. Thank you for this pic!

Craft shops are also a bad influence to me, I always only want to have a look and in the end come out having bought something. So many lovely stuff to be creative.

Why does it say Italy2013 as tag though? Just wondering! This post surely is from yesterday?

Stupid LJ overrode my new tag because I already had one for 2013. Fixed now, I hope.

The bookshelves are a perfect scale for your figures. I lusted after them too.
