Yesss! I am excited to see more of this story! I think it is a great chapter, and sometimes it's just what you need (more characterizations than plot). Interesting to see the Howells' old friends kind of "shunning" the castaways, but the Howells still value their friendships with them. Love the G/P tension, and the MA/G flirting! :)

Finally another chapter *lol*! I like the gathering, the setting, and high society's upper class ignoring our poor castaways.

So... did Thurston's 'friend' tell him about the farm already??!!
