It's the most simple to begin with the simple statement: in fact there wasn't detective fiction in the Soviet Union but very rare and unwelcome exceptions. May I ask if the two articles that so far have been constituting your Live Journal are your own creations or they are quotations of somebody else? It they are yours, may I also ask whether they have been written for the purpose of this very Live Journal of yours or they have been for publishing somewhere else, or maybe they are your lectures if you happen to be a lecturer in Russian Literature? I hope these questions are not too intrusive.
