I`m so glad you`re continuing this story, I can`t wait to see what happens. But don`t put too much pressure on yourself about the style or the research, we know you`re not an historian and you`re a very good writer so I`m sure we`ll enjoy whatever style you use. Thank`s for this! :)

Gosh, what a different take on Jack/Ennis! Beautifully written - you have made the journey seem so bleak and rough (weather and life on board). I am looking forward to the "saga" continuing.

Yes, I think travelling across the North Sea in an open ship in fall must have been pretty bleak (and cold!) so I'm glad if you think I managed to convey that. Thank you very much for reading.

This was a very interesting start and I will be waiting for more. You are brave enough to attend to write about a long time gone civilization and I am hooked. Thank you for sharing. Martha

The upside of writing a long gone civilization is that I can take liberties describing customs and events! Thank you for your kind words, I'm glad you took a chance despite my A/Ns.

Thank you, Tracy. I've got chapter 3 in the works, so the story won't hit the rocks quite yet, at any rate. Glad you like things Viking - it's an interest of mine too. :-)
