Who: Anyone who’s interested
When: Early Evening
Where: Kuja’s Home

What: Kuja’s ‘little’ bash

Maybe it was because he liked to go against any orders given to him by absolutely anyone, or it could’ve been the constant nagging of his young house-mate, but Kuja had suddenly come up with a wild idea of throwing a little gathering ( Read more... )

Freya had recieved an invitation a little while ago from Kuja inviting her to his house party. Normally she wouldn't go to these kinds of parties but she decided that it would be wrong not to accept the humble invite (espiecally as she didn't really know him), even if she stayed for a few hours at least she wouldn't seem rude or anti-social.

Freya clutched her invitation tightly in one hand (in case they were asked to prove they'd been invited) and knocked at the door with her free hand. She listened carefully for foot steps coming to let her i.

There was a knock on the door that no one else seemed to hear but Larsa. Feeling obliged as a resident of the house as well, he walked up to the door and let whoever it was in so they too could enjoy the party.

"Hello there." he greeted the lady as he gestured for her to come in. She didn't look like any of Kuja's aquaintances he had been informed about... but then, he was somewhat of a stranger to this environment as well. "Welcome, just make yourself at home if you'd like. Food and drinks are over there." He pointed to the side of the room lined with tables of snacks. "And most guests are just begining to arrive, so please don't mind the lack of company for the time being.

(ooc: Hullo, I am Larsa and I'll be your tour guide until Kuj decides to pop up. (lol))

Freya looked down at the young man in front of her, she wasn't expected Kuja to be a young boy but she kept her mouth shut.

"Thank you" she replied to the boy and started to walk towards the table of drinks and snacks. From seeing what the other few guests so far where wearing she was pleased she'd made an effort to dress up.

((OOC: Lol cool ok))

Spotting Larsa escorting yet another guest in, he decided to walk over and play 'good host' for them.

Leaving his comfortable seat on the chair, he waltzed over in their direction with the usual kick in his step. He took two glasses of wine from a table he happened to pass before greeting them in a fashion that was extremely like him. "Why hello there, fair miss. I see you have met Lamont, my sweet little friend." He said, smiling in Larsa's direction. "I'm Kuja Tribal, your host. may I offer you a glass?" he said.

Larsa never thought that telling Kuja to invite a few friends over to improve the house's atmosphere could cause such difficulties.

To begin with, he didn't know Kuja's concept of 'few' was the entire upper class community. The second obstacle was that Kuja didn't even give enough time to think everything through, and had everything brought that very morning.

'It was nice of him to buy me this new outfit, though.' Larsa though, trying to brighten up his prospects on that evening's activities.

They waited a while longer before people began arriving one by one.

Larsa couldn't help but be a little nervous seeing the multiple faces enter randomly. 'Kuja really has a way of attracting attention.' he noted. 'I just hope Vayne isn't among them.'

Hmm...a party, eh?

Balthier couldn't decide if it would be considered crashing or not, showing up to a party that he'd been informed of but not officially invited to...and he wasn't honestly sure whether he'd rather be invited or crashing, either.

Party crashing had a certain appeal.

He'd taken extra care in preparing for the night, choosing from his already expensive wardrobe a finely tailored black frock coat and an elegant silver brocade waistcoat with a high collar. A white silk shirt hid underneath the coat and vest. Black breeches and tall, soft black leather boots tooled in silver completed the outfit. His sandy blonde hair was spiked up, as usual, and a myriad of rings, bracelets, and earrings adorned his skin. More than ever he looked the part of Dashing Pirate Prince, if he did say so himself (which he did, actually, several times as he was standing in front of the mirror...).

Balthier rapped politely on the front door of the manor, three times.
