Yazoo had been standing at the living room window, watching the rain as it slowly start to fell, when he noticed a part of the sky that was lit up with an orange glow. At first, he had dismissed it, but as the spot began to grow in size, he had become quite curious as to what was going on and, after grabbing his daggers and strapping them around his thighs, had headed out to investigate.

Looks like a fire. And sure enough, as he drew closer to the source of the orange glow, he saw that one of the upper class homes had caught fire. Even though he was disappointed that it was just a house fire and not some type of havoc that he could participate in, he stood and watched for a moment as the flames jumped from window to window as they slowly consumed the home ( ... )

Loz had been watching for some time before he saw a figure wandering over to the house. Loz pressed himself against the tree, unsure at first. Until the feelings rose in him slowly. It was one of his brothers. He relaxed his muscles and could feel the cold rain seeping deep into his clothes. It was starting to aggrivate him ( ... )

Yazoo stared down at Loz kneeling at his feet with a look of slight disgust, silently contemplating whether he should take the opportunity and kick him in the face or simply snort in amusement. He settled on scowling at his brother’s kneeling form, and narrowed his eyes dangerously when Loz straightened up to his full height, as if daring his brother to try something. He had been surprised to see a post in Loz’s mindjournal saying that his brother was returning home after such a long absence, and wasn’t sure if he still couldn’t trust Loz or if he really had changed ( ... )

Lucrecia had been creeping through the streets as she usually did, however this time the Upper class district had captured her curiosity. As silent as a cat, she slipped around corners and kept her eyes narrowed to prevent others from seeing the bright green light emitting from her eyes...but something hit her like a ton of bricks falling from the sky. She froze, her porcelain face still, before she moved forward and streaked towards the source of the scent.

Smoke.

She could smell it. It was everywhere, and it was thickening as she neared where it was coming from. The rain falling was dusty and greyish, even in the night atmosphere, yet it kept her glistening white gown clean. She stopped a mere few metres from the two brothers who were currently conversing about a cat, and turned to gaze at them serenely. However, she'd come to regret that choice...

As soon as her glowing green eyes placed themselves upon the long silver haired youth, a great spasm of pain raced through her torso. Jenova..It seemed there was more Jenova within the ( ... )

“Impressive, but what’s the catch? And yes,” there was annoyance in his voice, having already answered the question once, “I took care of your cat.”"The catch is that now I don't have them standing in my way. I'm not going to go back there anymore," he said as he folded his arms stiffly. He could see the doubt etched in his brother's features and the corner of his mouth dipped into a slight frown. He was not sure exactly how else to convince Yazoo right now. He had to let time tell. He wouldn't argue because he was scared that Yazoo would leave, and more then anything he didn't want his brother to leave him ( ... )

Yazoo didn’t really know whether he wanted to believe his brother or not, because for all he knew, this whole setup could just be a small part of a big plan. He hadn’t forgotten how Loz had acted toward him and the others before leaving Gilgamesh. What had taken place during the Ifrit Festival was still fresh in his mind, and every time he thought about it, Loz standing up on that stage opposite Kadaj and him, his blood boiled in anger. Yet here Loz was now, standing in front of him and proclaiming to have started the fire that was now threatening to burn down most of the upper class ( ... )

They are your...I'm not sure. Not your siblings...yet not your children either.. It was just as confused as Lucrecia was, yet she thought nothing of it. A sharp crack, followed by a large explosion rattled through the air, causing Lucrecia's eyes to turn to the fire with wonder. She didn't flinch, she could take much more than that before she got frightened. The sight on the other hand, was beautiful..

As the fire lit up her face as it grew, Lucrecia watched as the flames jumped onto a neighbouring house and began to eat it hungrily. Her eyes were glowing almost as brightly as Sephiroth's...and as she turned to the two strangers a small distance from her, she smiled ever so slightly. They were family, she could feel their connections, their links...yet she'd offer no more than that.

Yelling and screaming had begun to sound around them. Sinking into shadows, she remained out of sight from observers, yet remained a close distance to the silver haired youths. Perhaps they knew where Jenova was..

The blast behind them had caused Yazoo to turn and watch the flames devour everything that they into contact with, the sight making a small smirk appear on his lips. When he turned back around, it was just in time to watch the woman as she stepped into the shadows. His hands went to curl around the daggers that were strapped to his thighs as he stepped toward her, and he flashed them menacingly in the firelight ( ... )

Lucrecia's eyes didn't leave the larger of the two before, staring at him with childlike innocence before she glanced toward the other, watching him advance. He came close, yet she didn't move, allowing him to circle her and study her. It didn't matter to her that these two would forcefully attempt to wrench answers from her. The brief pain they would cause would be welcomed, however not permanent. The Jenova within her prevented her from being killed so easily. She had first hand experience of that.

A pale hand rose to rest slightly against her chest, her eyes flickering between the two. Would they really hurt someone that was similar to them?

"...Lucrecia." Her name was whispered, yet her expression held no fear, nor anger, nor anything at all. Of course she feared the two, but she couldn't show him that. She couldn't fail her son and show these clones that she was afraid of them.

Loz raised his brow slightly and looked at Yazoo again as if asking if the name sounded familiar to him at all. "What are you doing here...?" Loz tried to hold his questions back, but his curiosity was far greater than his will to keep silent. "Why do you... feel like us? Like Mother.."

His last comment was spoken softly and he hoped that Yazoo would not be angry at him for asking. His eyes narrowed dangerously and he took another step towards the woman to show he was not afraid of her either. Surely Mother did not mention a sister.. or someone else like them.

What if this person was trying to hurt Mother? He had to know in order to stop her, whatever she was. Maybe she was trying to fool them somehow. She did not seem to be too afraid of them, which was her mistake. He could make her fear him if he wanted to. His want to prove to his brothers he would do anything now bubbled deep inside him.

Yazoo had come to a stop behind Lucrecia when had spoken, telling them her name, and he returned Loz’s look with a blank gaze of his own. He was just as clueless as Loz when it came to knowing who this woman was, and Mother would have told them about anyone else who was like them. Was it possible that She was keeping a secret from them, or had She simply forgotten that there was yet another person like them out there? He wanted to assume it was the latter, but if Mother was in fact keeping a secret from them, he wouldn’t question Her about why. Mother had her reasons, and that was that ( ... )

Lucrecia remained in the light as the other two stepped back, both eyes locked to the flames that seemed to have her hypnotised. The glow from her eyes was pulsating slightly, yet that stopped as soon as she looked away. What was causing it was unknown...Lucrecia wanted to know.

The boys...they wish to harm you, Crecia. Allow me.

She hadn't heard what they were saying - she had been too involved in her own thoughts...however she did hear a quick catch and immediately narrowed her eyes. 'Then I’ll give you the pleasure of forcing whatever answers you want out of her'.So that was how it was ( ... )

Loz slowly lifted one of his silver brows in total confusion. What in Yevon's name was this woman on? Loz drew up his fists. He was listening to every word she said. Was this some sort of act? A joke? If it was a joke it wasn't funny and Loz wasn't about to laugh. He'd just killed several members of his supposed "family" it would not really bother him all that much to kill another liar.

"We...I am Sephiroth's biological mother. Therefore, I qualify as family...and if you touch this body you will answer to me."

"Liar! Jenova...MOTHER is the only one who we belong to. Tch.. equals? In your prayers lady. You're just crazy!" A broad, mischivious smirk crossed Loz's face as he took a fighting stance. "You're just trying to hurt Mother... I'm just glad you showed your ugly mug so we could take care of it ( ... )
