Oh, dear, now I'm having thinky thoughts about ravens, and deception, and living in the shade of the oaks.

Julia, it's not easy living in discontinuous realities!

Oh no, I didn't mean to make life difficult and discontinuous with the fic!

Would it help if I said these were Celtic ravens, not Northwest ones?

Anyhow, thank you so much for reading and commenting, it's appreciated.

Awwww, that's wonderful. You have a perfect Anya voice and I very much enjoyed reading your story.

I'm so glad the story pleased! And since Anya is my favourite female character, I'm glad her voice pleased, too!

Thank you so much for reading and for commenting so kindly. It's appreciated.

Lovely!

And E is, indeed, a fine letter.

Sometimes we must start with E.(I know, it was totally contrived... [grin])

Thank you thank you for reading and commenting, Gina. I'm grateful for both!

Gosh, am I loving this ficathon! Your Anya voice is so well done. I love that she read to Giles from the dictionary. Just the right amount of magic and I appreciated your use of HeadRush's coven principals. The G/A dynamic as you wrote works well. Nicely done. Vehnu

Thank you so much for reading and commenting! I'm glad that Anya's voice worked for you -- she is my favourite, and I want to do her justice.

I will confess with some embarrassment that I've only read Head Rush's Giles/Anya fics, so I didn't know I was incorporating her names. Will apologize to her forthwith!

Anyway, thank you thank you for your kind feedback.

Ahh! I love the ending. That rounds it off quietly, sweetly, and yet a hint of something darker. I especially like: She smooths, she warms, she digs and untangles, she counts, she comforts. - there's a good rhythm to that.

Vehnu, thank you for your mention of my fics, and for reading them! Bless you! But I confess I'm a bit confused, as I don't recognise any of my original coven character names here. *scratches head* *g*

Yes, this version of the fic actually *has* an ending, unlike the one you saw. :-) Hugs and thanks and more thanks, Head Rush! Gratitude! Dog-hugs too!
