Bale's 6"1 (close to 6"2) but whatever....and Smallville continues with the blatent subtext

Yeah so our Chrissy is just an inch under Bruce Wayne's actual height. And did you know Michael Caine's actually 6"2? Weird. but then there's this quote from Al Gough, about the "Phoenix" Hug in season three, that he talked about in the CFO Spotlight Magazine (All credit to tasabian for finding said quote)

I love it when behind-the-scenes people see and respect the subtext. I understand why some people would be weirded out by it, but it can sometimes become borderline homophobia.

In all honesty I don't think he's under 6 ft and do think he is closer to 6"2 There's not that much of a height difference on screen between Alfred and Bruce even when Michael is standing closer to the camera. He probably is 6"1 and that's close enough for me lol.

And yeah I understand if you're weirded out by the Subtext on Smallville but to deny it exists? That is borderline homophobic, especially when everyone that's involved on the show and completely random people see it and comment on it

From what I understand it's a matter of perspective, also, 2" is like the size of my thumb, so it's now suprise that he doesn't look THAT much taller than Bale in the films.
