This sounds interesting.
It’s scary that we live in a world where, if people in power don’t like the facts, they make up their own. And if they repeat made up facts loudly and frequently enough, it doesn’t matter how nonsensical they are, people believe them.

Even after all this time, Sagan's writing holds true.

And that's exactly what seems to be happening. And they're so loud, that they drown out those who are trying to warn us of the danger.

It is sad that we haven't learned from such warnings. It seems at times people would rather believe in in fake science than real facts.

The book sounds like a good read though.

It is sad. I don't understand that sort of thinking, if you can call it that, at all. Like burying your head in the sand.

I enjoyed all his books, and am again this time around.

It's not my type of book. However, I do agree how scary it is that too many problems haven't been resolved and in many cases have become worse.
