I love Don't Be Afraid of the Dark - one of my youthful favorites along with The Stranger Within and Crowhaven Farm (all of which I have on disk). The biggest plot problem for me (as ever in these) is WHY DON'T YOU GET OUT?????

Salem's Lot is also a favorite, and I really liked Sometimes They Come Back too.

Exactly! Especially with Don't Be Afraid of the Dark. Her husband knows she doesn't want to be there, so why doesn't he take her with him when he goes to see the old man?

I was surprised that I preferred the remake of Salem's Lot, because I had always really liked it. And Sometimes They Come Back is one of my favorites.

But the little creeps were SO creepy. Especially back then when there basically were very little SPFX.

Yeah, I still think those little whatever-they-are are totally creepy. Whoever made them did a great job.

Lol, a lot of them are pretty old. I've been collecting horror movies for a long time.
