I'm glad what you got was 'almost enough'. It certainly sounds intriguing. As I've said before, I'm not a fan of time shifts; I think I've only read one book where for once it worked for me.

I don't mind the time shifts, as long as I can follow what's going on. And, luckily, I didn't have a problem with that. I just wish she had put more effort into filling out the characters. The book was better than The Glass Hotel, but nowhere as good as Station Eleven.

Yes, I have. Unfortunately, I have to say that I wasn't much impressed by it. I think this one was much better. The book of hers that I love is Station Eleven.

also, i agree about the character plot shifts they seem discombobulated at first but the whole scenario is subtle i totally get it
