I have only read a short story by Naomi Alderman but from what I remember it was good. Yeah, having a power like that I could see it going badly no matter who had it. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I definitely plan on reading more of her work. I really liked how the real message of the story, like the best of science fiction, wasn't the obvious one.

So am I. It was such a pleasant surprise to enjoy a book as much as I did this one after having passed it by.
