I'm not sure why I only managed one movie in January, and only just. But because of that, I made a concerted effort in February, to the point where I went through some of the DVDs that I'd bought through the years but never watched. There were some good ones, some not so good ones, and even some excellent ones.

I used to follow Christian Bale's career closely but have kinda tuned out Hollywood in recent years. Glad he's still doing his thing! ⭐

Premonition sounds a little Popsicle-headachy. 🍭

Superman Returns is this sort of dreamy, Art Deco-style film with a subdued Clark. Could be five years of isolation is a reason. Anyway, Brandon did a crackerjack job as the Atom on the CW, especially on Legends Of Tomorrow! ☺️

Yeah, I bought quite a few of Bale’s movies right after he starred in the Batman trilogy. Not so much anymore, but I still like seeing him.

Brandon probably got better with time. He wasn’t terrible, just not Reeve, who will always be my Superman. ☺️

Lots of new films (or new to me) to look out for! I particularly like the sound of The Lost King, Rush of Fear and the Runaway Jury. I love Gene Hackman so I must look out for it.

The Pale Blue Eye sounds so good. I saw the trailer for it and it really hooked my interest, especially when I saw they brought Edgar Allen Poe in as a character.

It sounds like The Lost King would be good as well I hadn't heard of it before now. I will have to see where I can find it.

I thought both were excellent. Pale Blue Eye was on Apple +. I had to buy the DVD for The Lost King. It was well worth it.

A lot of movies I've never heard of there, including the Christian Bale one. I haven't seen a ton of his movies but every one I *have* seen, he has been so impressive.

He’s a good actor. I’ve sort of followed him since the Batman movies. I think you’d like the movie.
