I'd say the train wreck's been coming for 200 years, but I also know I'll be dead by the time it's really bad, so fuck it. If we have collectively been too stupid and greedy (I'm looking at you, UNITED STATES, but not you alone) to take care of our own survival, to hell with us.

That's basically how I feel. And not having had children, I don't have that hanging over my head, either. Humankind as a whole has been pretty stupid about the whole thing. Unfortunately, we're going to take a lot of innocent species with us.
