So... for the past few months I've been involved in a band (well more like an ongoing musical project) with a few friends. It's called Highway Child. We've been pretty casual, only practcing when everyone was around, just having fun, writing music, and blowing off some steam. Our last few practices though have been really cohesive and satisfying,

You aren't kidding about the name haha. Steve thought it was the stupidest thing he'd ever heard so Bob and I made him say it over and over again until he understood it. I don't know if it's serious or not, I just sort of came up with it and decided to go against my best judgement and actually use it. Band names are stupid anyway. I found out recently that it's also the name a a great jimi hendrix song, so I think it was fated that this be our name, as awful and silly as it is.
