I read somewhere, possibly in slammerkinbabe's LJ that one hears the word cow just about everyday of one's life. Did I read that right? It seems an odd thing to think or say...

In any case, the brilliant alphapythia mentioned cows in her journal which lead me on a search that turned up this article about phoneme development, which was interesting enough that I thought it

Interesting article. My school district just adopted a reading curriculum that has a lot of phonemic awareness, including daily activities such as a sound chat and sound song (sung to the tune of "If You're Happy and You Know It" - If your name begins with /m/, stand up now... etc.). I'm very excited about this new curriculum. :-D
