I was doing a little bedtime reading when I came across a picture of a lady who was in the middle of labour

Was scared sh!tless at the thought of something like that happening to my body. Unless you induce, the surges do build up gradually so you will have time to get used to it. And then at some point, it's like 'get the baby out now!'

In retrospect it was a cool experience - the labour, not the actual birth which was so unglam haha
