I don't have much power outside of Mizuho itself--you know, the whole isolation thing. I'm pretty sure they'll be okay with me for the most part though, unless something crazy happens. I can claim they're guests of Mizuho.

What about lodging? Where's the cheapest inn in Meltokio as of late?

Despite the whole isolation thing--and don't get shirty with me on this--Tethe'alla still considers Mizuho ours. So while you guys may not have actual representation among the higher-ups, don't forget you're the only summoner in all of Tethe'alla. That carries a lot of weight, even with the pope.

Well, half-elves try to pass off as full-blooded humans or elves a lot (big surprise), and there are plenty of ways to see whether they're telling the truth or not. But you two are going to stick out like two sore thumbs, because the elves of Tethe'alla stick to Heimdall. They hate humans. Not too fond of the Church, either.

Hey! The cousins thing makes sense! I mean, Colette and me, we're both of the mana lineage. So we probably do have a common ancestor (and that's actually pretty creepy to think about).
