This may be TMI, but not enough for me to cut it because it's a source of pride I don't get to share: I went twelve years without throwing up. January 2000-February 2012. Sorry to hear you were sick! Glad to hear you're better.

That whole not throwing up thing? Okay, I hate you. Throwing up is apparently my default position with sick. Fortunately I'm rarely sick.

And I know nothing about Sherlock and Watson at all. So that saves you from any thoughts from me. (grin)

I'd never thought of Lestrade, but I was glad to see him in the new series (especially when he showed up out of nowhere in the Hound of the Baskervilles.)
