In other news: I'm watching Across The Universe, and I don't feel as angry as I thought I would be, but that's not necessarily a good thing. There's really nothing impressive about it. It seems unnecessary, like there's absolutely no point in its existence, if that makes any sense.

The thing you have to realize about Across the universe is that Max is head over heels in Love with Jude. But he steps back because he thinks his Sister loves Jude. She really doesn't, she loved Vietnam boy and is settling for Jude.

I might be slightly obsessed with this movie...sorry :/

Oh, I totally see that. It's obvious that Max is in love with Jude, but I'm still pretty unimpressed with the movie.

Heheh very true. I think it's also not really a movie for hardcore Beatles fans. I know of a couple of my friends who are Beatles fans and they thought the movie was pretty but pointless.

I also like to think of it as one long pretty music video. Although the summation of "Songfic" fits it well too.
