I feel oddly satisfied with this set. Much more than I felt about the 'five things' meme (excepting the D. Gray-man and Kisame/Itachi ones, which were pretty good). Be interesting to see if everyone else thinks so, too.

Sometimes, in the blackest part of the night, Kakashi was thankful Obito was dead. It was comforting to know that when he woke up in the morning, at least one Uchiha he cared about would still be where he had left him.
And so on.

Jiraiya's star pupil had been a headstrong, idealistic idiot who hadn't improved with age, but at least the man's death had given Orochimaru the satisfaction of imagining the look on Sarutobi's face when he was forced again to take on the Hokage mantle after less than two years of retirement. Children did have an awful habit of dying young.
... okay, that sucked, but it's still sort of funny.

Still, it does give something to imagine.

You could always expect sucky. Then you'd still be right about 60% of the time.

I wrote Tayuya a bit sappy, but if it influences you to write... what the hell are you waiting for?

If there's any time when Tayuya's allowed to be a bit sappy, it's when there's nobody around and she's about to die. (The phantom of a plotbunny for some sort of sardonic thing with OMG-super-seme!Sakon and whimpering-uke!Kidoumaru keeps pestering me. Trust me, you don't *want* me to start writing that particular one.)

True. Not like there is anyone around to call her girly. (Please. Sakon would only be seme because Kidoumaru doesn't care and would totally be willing to bottom because he'll do anything for a good time. Ukon and Tayuya are the only real semes in all the Sound Five. Kimimaro bottoms for Kabuto and Orochimaru, Sakon's pissy, Jiroubou is ignored, and Kidoumaru doesn't give a shit. Any Sound fic at all would be awesome though, and just to be pushy and irritating, how is Chapter Three of Threads going?
